Description and Requirements We are looking for a new Trade Export Control for our Hungary manufacturing plant. This position supports the IT systems that are used by manufacturing team in our Budapest plant located in Üllo. What You will do: A working knowledge of and ability to apply laws and regulations related to global trade compliance. Support proficiency on applicable laws and regulations issued by various government agencies and translate them into business compliance best practices. Manage export licensing program, p erform post entry audits and conduct internal audits and reviews. Execute import/export compliance activities such as commodity jurisdiction, product classification (ECCN & HTS) Restricted Party Screening and End User Certification Monitor changes in government trade regulations to ensure internal processes and procedures are implemented. Participate in trade compliance associations to stay current on import regulations and best practices. Intrastat Reporting Liaison with Hungarian authorities Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Strong knowledge of EU import, export, dual-use, licensing, and sanction regulations Experience with export compliance. 1-3 years’ experience with international trade and/or customs compliance experience Experience with general licensing determination and ECCN classification and c apable of research, understand, and interpret legal regulations. Proficiency with MS Office applications and e xperience with SAP GTS helpful. Proficiency in English and Hungarian; spoken and written. Strong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail and s trong communication and interpersonal skills to work throughout the organization.
