We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to manage financial transactions for all companies under the GR Brands umbrella. This includes balancing to the general ledger, making timely payments, and staying up to date on the financial position of the companies. Accountant responsibilities include recording bank deposits, reconciling bank statements, calculating tax payments, management of accounts payable, and compliance with tax regulations. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-motivated individual with a high attention to detail and strong ability to multi-task. This is an entry level position, but knowledge or interest in the car industry will be beneficial. We fully believe this position will be a great opportunity to develop skills and gain accounting experience. Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions for all companies under the GR Brands umbrella
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute sales tax
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Requirements and skills
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or a relevant degree
