GLADE RUN LUTHERAN SERVICES Accounting Specialist in ZELIENOPLE, Pennsylvania
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Entry Level position for individual with an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting. Coursework in Accounting required.
- No experience required but educational requirements must be met.
- Ability to type accurately (50 words per minute) utilizing computers.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and other general computer applications.
- Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to identify with the Agency Mission Statement and support the agency's Core Values.
- Must have acceptable PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance and FBI clearance (as applicable).
CORE COMPETENCIES:
Accounts Receivables -- Estimated two to three days per week, may fluctuate based on need
- Prepare all cash receipts on a daily basis.
- Weekly preparation of Community Monitoring Program Self Pay Client Billing for Assistant Director of Finance review.
- Assist in the monthly preparation of Community Monitoring Program County/School District Billing for Assistant Director of Finance review.
- As the backup Billing Specialist have knowledge of the basic functionality of billing claims in order to bill when necessary.
- Assist with processing and follow up of monthly aging reports as necessary.
- Produce monthly billing for Family Wellness Clients.
- Assist in monthly counting billing for the Forensic and Family Wellness programs.
- Complete all clerical duties as assigned such as filing, emails, etc.
General Ledger/Accounts Payable -- Estimated two to three days per week, may fluctuate based on need
- Assist in Accounts Payable Invoice processing as needed. Weekly mailing and filing of all paid invoices.
- Assist in creation of month end journal entries.
- Assist in monthly Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly Bank Reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly Financial Reporting.
- Assist in other monthly Reporting.
- Assist CFO on other assignments.
- Assist in the Bi-weekly Program Productivity reports for Full Time Staff: MHP, TC, BCM, FBMH, IBHS and OP.
- Complete all clerical duties as assigned such as filing, emails, etc.
