Child Development Services of Ottawa County Preschool Site Supervisor in Zeeland, Michigan
Description: Responsible to ensure the effective and efficient operations of the assigned centers by overseeing all operations, managing staff, and meeting curriculum requirements. This position is responsible for ensuring that all Head Start Performance Standards and State of Michigan Licensing Rules are met.
Qualifications:
Educational requirements
This position requires one of the following:
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, or other related field with coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education
Teaching certificate with ZA or ZS endorsement or appropriate combination of a bachelor's degree, leadership experience, and early childhood development knowledge
A college course in the administration of early childhood centers is required
Skills and specifications
- Three or more years of professional experience working with children ages birth-5
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Analytical skills to identify problems and generate ideas and solutions
- Ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit professionalism and maintain confidentiality
Schedule: Full-time, year-round program
Pay Range: $25.56 -- 29.18/hour
