Job Summary: The Fleet Acquisition Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement and lifecycle of our rental fleet. This role involves strategic planning, vendor negotiations, and ensuring the fleet meets the company’s standards for quality and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Procurement: Develop and execute strategies for acquiring new vehicles, including negotiating with manufacturers and dealers to secure the best terms.

  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vehicle suppliers and other stakeholders.

  • Budget Management: Oversee the fleet acquisition budget, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions.

  • Fleet Planning: Analyze market trends and customer demand to forecast fleet needs and plan acquisitions accordingly.

  • Compliance: Ensure all fleet acquisitions comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports on fleet acquisition activities, costs, and performance metrics.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations, finance, and sales, to align fleet acquisition with overall business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management, procurement, or a related field.

  • Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management software.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
