Job Description

Demonstrated ability to write great code using Java and Python is a must.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals and the ability to implement algorithms using tools like PyTorch/Tensorflow.

• Strong knowledge of scientific computing packages such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, and scipy.

• Hands-on experience developing java REST-based services using frameworks like Dropwizard, Micronaut, or equivalent.

• Experience in building and managing containerized applications, preferably with Docker/Podman.

• Experience in building and designing microservices and/or cloud-native applications.

• Strong shell/bash scripting skills.

• System design fundamentals and distributed systems architecture best practices.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure). Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a plus.

• Strong SQL, PL/SQL.

• Strong knowledge of relational database technology and best practices in performance tuning and troubleshooting, with knowledge of Oracle RDBMS-specifics being a plus.

• Experience writing Infrastructure-as-Code for Cloud deployment automation, preferably OpenToFu/Terraform.

• Knowledge of Linux internals and in particular strong Linux/Unix troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
