[Responsibilities:]{.underline}
Responsible to Serve as lead worker and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment including, engines, brake and electrical systems. Use test equipment to diagnose electrical, ignition and engine problems; make repairs or complete engine overhaul. Will use welding equipment to repair, bend and straighten steel. Complete accurate and timely records of repairs performed on vehicles; monitor gas consumption and oil use; place orders for supplies and parts. Provide roadside repair for vehicles and equipment when requested. Subject to 24-hour call-back/stand by as assigned to perform emergency maintenance and repairs after normal working hours, on nights, weekends and holidays.
[Qualifications:]{.underline}
High School Diploma or G.E.D., and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Possession of a valid CDL Class B License, along with an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) 1 certification in brakes, electrical systems and engine performance.
