Job Title: Maintenance Tech

Location: York, SC

Pay: $18–$20/hour

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Interview: Zoom

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to assist with final preparations for a college expansion project. This role will include various tasks to ensure the project is completed on time for an open house event on January 17, 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general handyman tasks, including sheetrock repair and basic carpentry.

• Paint interior and exterior surfaces as needed.

• Clean and prepare classrooms and training spaces.

• Set up equipment and tables in designated areas.

• Pull wires and ensure power is connected to all workstations.

• Operate independently to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

• Use a forklift for material handling (if experienced).

Qualifications:

• Experience in general maintenance, carpentry, or similar roles.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Forklift experience is a bonus but not required.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
