TECHNICAL LINE OPERATOR - Weekend Nights
Thursday and Friday 9:30pm to 6:00am and Saturday and Sunday 5:30pm to 5:30am
Pay Rate - $28.71/ hour

This highly visible position located at our York, PA Facility.
What you’ll do:
This position will be responsible for safety, quality and productivity of all equipment on a high-speed manufacturing line including unscrambler, filler, case former, case sealer, case packer, etc.
Essential Functions:
Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area.
Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.
Safe and efficient packaging line operation to meet or exceed all quality, scheduling and customer requirements.
Perform machine set-up and changeovers.
Perform line performance troubleshooting and maintenance as needed to include replacement of machine components as necessary.
Perform line preventative maintenance, including adjustment, alignment and lubrication of machinery.
Perform product quality tests, including but not limited to, pH, viscosity, product inspection, weight control, cap torque and finished product inspection.
Computer operation including entering production information into the manufacturing system.
Set-up and operate check weigher, bottle coder, case coder and/or inkjet coder as needed.
Participate in continuous improvement teams to identify and resolve areas of downtime, etc.
Assist with the training and certification program as needed.
What you’ll need:
High school diploma or GED required 3-5 years experience production line operation experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude, shop math skills and troubleshooting ability required
