Job Description
Operating in the finishing area, candidates will be working on slitter machines. This is considered more of an entry-level role within the company.
Responsibilities
Continuously check for print and seam quality.
Remove defective material and splice the roll web back together per the specification.
Utilize a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during the splicing procedure and as necessary.
Handle rolls and palletize them once finished.
Look for any seam-related defects.
Record and enter data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
Openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Shifts are as follows: 1st - 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 3rd - 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. Paid for 8 hours with a 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks. All training is performed on 1st shift for 4-8 weeks, regardless of the assigned shift. The facility is the largest label manufacturer in the world with about 220+ full-time employees working across three shifts. The plant specializes in extended content labels for pharmaceutical and home goods products.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.50/hr.
