Job Description

Skilled Laborers will be responsible for assisting in the construction field by installing various materials such as duct work, large walk-in freezers, grease hoods, cabinets, countertops, lighting, and wall panels. Candidates should have a good mechanical aptitude, be able to utilize different types of power tools and basic tools, and understand how to read a tape measure up to 16ths of an inch. This role requires 2 years of new construction experience in any field, and the ability to work closely with a crew of 5 other individuals in a new construction setting.

Responsibilities

• Install duct work, large walk-in freezers, grease hoods, cabinets, countertops, lighting, wall panels, and other construction materials.

• Utilize different types of power tools and basic tools.

• Read a tape measure accurately up to 16ths of an inch.

• Work closely with a crew of 5 individuals in a new construction setting.

• Travel to and from projects, including overnight travel.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Experience with various power tools and basic tools.

• Ability to read a tape measure up to 16ths of an inch.

• 2 years of new construction experience in any field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Blueprint reading.

Work Environment

New construction environment. Work hours are 45-50 hours per week with an 8:30 am start time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
