Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Order Puller/Unwind/Rewind Operator to join our Commercial Finishing Department. The position involves material handling and operating unwinding and rewinding machines to process wallpaper rolls for commercial customers. This role requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate unwinding and rewinding machines to process larger rolls into smaller rolls for commercial customers.

• Load rolls, set measurements, and start the cutting process.

• Wrap the finished product and place it on a pallet for shipping.

• Track all work using paper-based systems to stay organized.

• Inspect wallpaper for quality to ensure there are no rips or defects.

• Utilize forklift and other material handling equipment to move rolls.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating sit-down forklifts, particularly Raymond Electric with Pole attachment and Crown-Propane sit down forklifts.

• Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently throughout the shift.

• Basic math skills.

• Ability to use tape measures and operate machinery.

• Mechanically inclined.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with paperwork and strong attention to detail.

• Quality inspection skills.

• Forklift experience, including driving pull trucks or 'carpet pullers'.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
