Wire Machine Operator

2nd and 3rd shift Available

Paying up to $24/hr

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will work with very large spools of wire (90% steel) that run through machinery with dies to trim the wire down to customer specifications and apply coatings or sealants. The majority of our wire is used by customers to produce various staples and fine wire brushes.

2nd Shift: 2p-10:30p M-F

3rd Shift: 10p-6:30a S-Th

Hard Skills

• Operate digital controlled machinery

• Load raw material and remove finished product

• Perform quality welds using appropriate butt welder

• Perform preventative maintenance on all production and support equipment

• Maintain accurate production and quality records

• Understand product quality, delivery, and scrap measurements

• Use tape measures, micrometers, and calipers

• Understand and follow safety procedures and policies
