The School Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a schoolsetting. The School Nurse may also be in a supervisory position within the contractedservices. The School Nurse provides services in accordance with Amergis Healthcare Staffing's philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accreditedregistered, practical or vocational nursing program

• Licensed as a LicensedPractical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing

• One year of professionalexperience, preferred

• Current CPR

• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (percontract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state andlocal requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

  Shifts: Monday - Friday 745-3:25

  Hours Per Week: 35

  Contract Length: School year

  Start Date: ASAP

  Overtime: Not available

  Details of Assignment:

  Nurses will be assigned a “home location within the District” However, they will be required to go to ANY building to support if nurses are out. They are looking only for nurses who will do the float role. They will start their positions training at every building so they are familiar with them. Will report to ANN the District lead CSN
