Traditions Bank Client Care Expert - Senior Teller in York, Pennsylvania
General Summary:
Responsible for processing customer transactions in an accurate, efficient, and customer-focused manner. Occasionally performs platform functions, including opening accounts and account maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Follows bank policies and procedures to process customer transactions such as deposits and withdrawals.
- Builds brand awareness of Traditions Bank by providing exquisite, responsive customer service.
- Assists with branch operational items, including ATM and Vault Settlement, Monthly Cash Audits and other operational tasks as needed.
- Answers and screens phone calls, taking ownership of providing information and resolving customer problems.
- Resolves customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner and uses these opportunities to identify additional needs.
- Handles maintenance and other servicing issues. Answers general questions and researches requests.
- Opens personal and business deposit accounts and performs account maintenance.
- Responsible for uncovering customer needs beyond the immediate transaction and for successfully suggesting additional products.
- Takes lead role in other projects as assigned.
- Key goals are transaction quality, transaction efficiency, superior customer relations, customer education and cross sell, teamwork, and creating positive memorable experiences for our customers.
- Takes the initiative and is self-motivated to perform these responsibilities.
- Provides informal coaching feedback to teammates.
- Understands and delivers on the Traditions Bank sales process.
- Engages the customer in relationship building conversations (profiling) for current and future needs identification and cross selling.
- Builds brand awareness by providing exquisite and responsive customer service.
Contributes to the team effort by performing other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school (High school diploma) diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prefer three plus years of Teller experience; some account opening experience preferred.
- Effective communication and outstanding customer relationship skills are required.
- Ability and desire to interact in a team environment and willingness to contribute to team efforts are essential.
- Strong attention to detail a must.
- Requires a high level of tact and integrity due to the regular exposure to confidential data.
- Willingness to suggest new services to customers is expected. Some retail experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to implement skills training (transfer knowledge into action).
- Ability to work individually as well as a member of a team.
- Microsoft Office 365 (Intermediate)
- Core Operating Systems
- Ability to travel in designated geographic regions needed.
- Responsible for understanding the bank's compliance policies as it relates to the specific individual job duties and following the provisions of such policies, specifically understanding that any violation of such policies must be reported to the Director of Regulatory Services immediately.
