Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Auditor (Administrative Officer 1) in York, Pennsylvania

DESCRIPTION OF WORK Your primary role involves conducting administrative audits and site reviews on agent and messenger services, including online messengers and online registration program participants to ensure compliance with regulations and contracts. You will be responsible for identifying any fraudulent activity related to title and registration policies, interpreting regulations from contracts, and reviewing financial documents associated with motor vehicle titling and registration. By analyzing audit data, procedures, policies, contracts, and agreements, you will formulate findings and recommendations to be communicated to the section manager, including appropriate sanctions for violations and on-site recommendations for immediate action with management approval.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. This position requires travel and mandatory overtime as needed. This is a field position that will conduct audits and site inspections within the Central South Pennsylvania geographic region which includes Lancaster, York, Adams, Franklin, Fulton, Delaware, and Chester counties. Candidate must reside in one of the counties that they will be working in. You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 1 day per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must possess a valid PA class C driver's license. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements: This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
