STEM Learning Chief Financial Officer in York, United Kingdom
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – York Join STEM Learning in our quest to inspire and educate the next generation of innovators. As our CFO, you will be pivotal in steering the financial helm of a mission-driven social enterprise dedicated to enhancing STEM education across the UK.
Your significant experience (minimum CCAB accounting qualified) will enable you to:
Champion a culture of financial prudence and commercial acumen.
Ensure financial sustainability aligns with our core values and mission.
Offer analytical insights to maximize resource utilization and impact.
Simplify and streamline operations for agility in the dynamic STEM sector.
Primary Accountabilities:
Integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, shaping robust commercial strategies and operational resilience.
Spearhead the Financial Strategy, unlocking STEM Learning's potential while safeguarding against risks.
Oversee the ENTHUSE Charitable Trust, fostering a strategic alliance that propels both entities forward.
Supporting Functions:
Present financial reports to the Board, Trustees, and senior management.
Manage budgets and forecasts, assessing business risks to inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with managers to ensure optimal impact and value from our resources.
Enhance governance, compliance and risk management, evaluating legal structures to support strategic goals.
Ensure innovation, legal compliance and creativity underpins the development of the financial support to STEM Learning and the Trust.
