Job description for wedding coordinator

Job summary: This position is the hotel's wedding sales and planning practitioner. Working with the Director, Assistant Director, Manager and Assistant Manager, this position proactively solicits and processes wedding-related deals that represent a significant source of revenue for the hotel. Achieve individual and team revenue targets by building and maintaining long-term, valuable client relationships. Responsible for all wedding-related matters in accordance with guest needs and provides appropriate service in accordance with brand standards. Responsible for building guest loyalty by ensuring that wedding guests receive excellent service throughout their experience at the hotel.

Main duties:.

Maintain and grow post-contract upsell.

Work with directors and managers to plan, develop and market creative wedding events.

Support the operational aspects of the contracted wedding business (e.g. proposal development, contract development, customer relations).

Build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Effectively utilises sales resources and administrative and support staff together with directors and managers.

Manage customer, account and opportunity data with SFA.

Increase customer loyalty by providing excellent service throughout the customer experience.

Serve customers to increase account share.

Implement and support the brand's customer service standards and the property's brand standards.

Participate in and implement the brand's daily service basics.

Implemented exemplary customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, assisting customers before and during programmes and events.

Provided services that build customer relationships and loyalty to the company by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate features and services that best meet and exceed customer expectations.

Serving customers both at wedding meetings and on the wedding day to understand their business and business issues and concerns and to provide better business solutions.
