Duties & Responsibilities:
Test the products and tools
Tests using predefined requirements and specifications
Tests using predefined clinical workflows
Tests using predefined STDs
The Defect and Test management tools are required by the role and does not required Business owner approval.
Manage defect information
Enters defect number for each test cases that failed into the test case in the protocol
Enters defect scenarios into the Defect Management System
Looks for other scenarios that will create the same defect
Shares the defect information with the R&D team¾SW, SE, PM, and developing teams via the Defect Management System
Test traceability
Traces test cases to cover the requirements and specifications (where applicable)
In case of a defect, traces the requirement of the test cases that lead to the defects
Traces the test cases that lead to test results
Traces the test cases that ensure correct implementation of risk mitigations
Write and maintain system tests
Writes and maintains test cases
Writes and maintains STDs
Writes and maintains clinical workflows
General
Communicates business related issues and opportunities to next management level
Follows all Company guidelines related to Environment, Health & Safety practices
Ensures personal and Company compliance with Company policies and applicable laws
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Experience and education:
Education or Training:
A high school diplomas
5 units in English - an advantage
5 math units - an advantage
Computer major - an advantage
QA (Testing) ISTQB diplomas - an advantage
BA degree or Practical Engineering diploma- an advantage
Experience (advantage): Some prior experience in a testing environment is preferred, including:
One year in manual system testing
Experience in medical devices testing
Required knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications/licenses and affiliations
Required Knowledge
Knowledge in writing test cases
Good English skills: speaking, reading, and writing
Required Skills or Abilities
Accurate and reliable
Systematic approach/point of view
Self-motivated
Works well individually and as part of a team
Certifications/Licenses
Advantage: ISTQB.
