Description We are seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team. The role will be based in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts, 02675, United States. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for managing books for subsidiary's, handling accounts payable/receivable, depositing checks, and paying vendors. You will also be involved in compiling the financial statements, booking journal entries, income statements, balance, and expense reports. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting books for subsidiary companies.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

• Deposit checks and make payments to vendors in a timely manner.

• Compile and present financial statements for review.

• Book journal entries, income statements, balance sheets, and expense reports.

• Understand and apply cash and accrual accounting methods.

• Use Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables and perform VLOOKUP functions.

• Utilize EAS in the general ledger system and Sage software for depreciation.

• Reconcile account balances and bank statements.

• Close month-end accounts and record transactions in NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP systems. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Extensive knowledge of General Ledger management

• Capability to handle Journal Entries

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close activities

• Familiarity with NetSuite software

• Proficiency in using Oracle for accounting functions

• Experience with SAP accounting software
