GENERAL ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON Orthopedics Northwest is looking for a general orthopedic surgeon to grow their practice. Orthopedics Northwest is a well-established practice that has been serving Central Washington for over 50 years. This opportunity boasts competitive salary, benefits, retirement, a track to partnership and more. Enjoy the support of a full spectrum of subspecialty partners within this collegial private practice group, including sports medicine, hand surgery, total joints, foot and ankle, spine, and general orthopedics. Opportunities exist to work with medical students from the nearby Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences as well as Central Washington Family Medicine Residency Program, if interested. The schedule for this opportunity is a traditional workweek and periodic weekend, plus call and hospital duties including procedures, rounding, consults and clinic. Potential for creative work schedule. Expected call responsibility for this opportunity is approximately 5 days per month. We are also actively recruiting for physician assistants to round out the practice. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Successful completion of an ACGME accredited orthopedic residency program Board eligible/board certified orthopedic surgeon License in the state of WA by time of employment Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA Current BLS Benefits FTE: 1.0 Starting Salary: $600,000 (1st year income guarantee, 2nd year production based) Signing bonus/moving expense: $60,000 Paid time off including vacation, sick pay, CME Paid holidays Paid malpractice premiums Paid medical, dental, life insurance for physician and family Retirement plan with 4% safe harbor match Professional dues Potential membership in company after 1 year Position Summary MultiCare Health System is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join a well-established and expanding group practice.
