Position Overview:

If you are an experienced Marketing professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting platform for you! Based in Xian, China, you will be responsible for enhancing the brand awareness and profile of Copeland by crafting meaningful, results-driven communications that align with our brand guidelines and company narrative. You will continuously seek opportunities to share the Copeland story with customers, stakeholders, and employees.

As Communications Manager, AMEA, You will:

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Business Partners, Subject Matter Experts, and other stakeholders to develop impactful communication strategies for business and enterprise projects, in line with the brand narrative and guidelines, to increase Copeland’s brand awareness.

  • Work in tandem with Global Communications and Business Unit stakeholders on crafting and implementing best-practice crisis communication plans.

  • Identify opportunities and credible proof points to support the sharing of the Copeland narrative, transforming these opportunities into engaging stories for both internal and external sharing.

  • Develop, write, and review a variety of collateral to support these strategies, including press releases, media statements, by-line articles, website content, social media content, customer sales kits, and internal communications.

  • Advocate for engaging storytelling within the organization, encouraging colleagues to share their success stories and contribute to the Story Bank.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to keep our brand at the forefront of our industries.

Required education, experienced and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Journalism, Chinese/English Language and Literature, Communication, Advertising, or Marketing.

  • More than 10 years working experience in related field.

  • Familiarity with sustainability trends and the HVACR and cold chain industries is preferred.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Simplified Chinese.

  • Outstanding skills in writing, editing, and proofreading to ensure high-quality content.

  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a simple, succinct, and effective manner.

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines and handle emergencies.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive, positive, and solution-oriented attitude.
