LifePoint Health Admin Asst-Clinic PRN in Wytheville, Virginia
Performs a variety of duties to support administration of the assigned clinic.
Reports to: Front Office Coordinator, Office Manager or Director of Physician Practices**
Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required License/Certification Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of date of hire Valid driver's license and use of a vehicle for on the job
Minimum Education Athena and Meditech experience preferred. Working knowledge of computers, telephones, copy and fax machines required Demonstrate knowledge of icd-9, icd-10, CPT codes, insurance benefits and healthcare backgrounds. Certification or completion of Medical Assisting coursework.
