SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Take heart and join the clinical Berks Cardiology staff in Wyomissing, PA! Located on Keiser Boulevard, this office operates during daytime hours, leaving evenings, weekends, and holidays at your leisure!

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Berks Cardiology, you will oversee the Prescription Desk that handles verbal standing orders and medications. You will also monitor lab orders and instructions to ensure accuracy and assist the Vein Clinic by observing sterile procedures, medications, and techniques. As an LPN with this clinic, you will also direct ambulance admissions and ensure the safety of patients admitted.

The Penn State Health Berks Cardiology teams see an average of 118 patients/day, so prior experience in a fast-paced medical office is ideal. Dependability and a background in cardiology/telemetry is a plus! Interested? Apply today!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required prior to completion of orientation.
