POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of the facilities and equipment on site. They will perform preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment in the manufacturing plant as well as company vehicles. Also, they will manage the landscape by mowing, removing snow, and other tasks to keep the facility in good condition. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS All employees are required to support Rosenbauer s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer. Performs preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment in the manufacturing plant as well as company vehicles. Manages the landscape by mowing, removing snow, and other tasks to keep the facility in good condition. Conducts inspections of production equipment and safety apparatus on a regular basis. Maintains the facility s landscape and building infrastructure. Fabricates various structures, jigs, and fixtures as asked by various departments. Light construction as needed. Installs A/C units in facilities and assist with some light construction as needed. Works with outside contractors to obtain quotes and shares quotes to supervisor for final approval. Schedules outside contractors and vendors as needed and requested by supervisor. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company. Tools to be utilized: Hand tools, power tools, grinders, tape measure, welders, torch, and potentially other tools for special jobs.
