Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the production of custom emergency vehicles. The role involves creating mechanical components, designing detail drawings, troubleshooting design issues, and collaborating with vendors to ensure quality and efficiency. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in automotive or manufacturing/fabrication industries.

Responsibilities

  • Design components for custom emergency vehicles.

  • Create detailed mechanical drawings.

  • Generate Bill of Materials (BOM).

  • Troubleshoot and correct design issues.

  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure the quality of produced components.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Solidworks.

  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Experience in mechanical design and engineering.

  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

  • Experience in 3D modeling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in product development.

  • Experience in the automotive industry.

  • Strong data analysis skills.

Work Environment

You will be working on the implementation of new generations of custom emergency vehicles.
