SUMMARY:
Management Business Solutions is seeking a
Grant Coordinator Assistant
for its client in
Grand Rapids, MI
. The person will be responsible for supporting departments in applying for and managing grants. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis skills, proficiency in Excel and Word, and excellent organizational abilities. This role will involve compliance tasks, financial record management, and coordination with internal teams to ensure successful grant applications and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist departments in applying for grants and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
- Gather, organize, and maintain financial records and supporting documentation for grant applications.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect necessary information for grant reporting.
- Review transactions to ensure correct submission of required documents, approvals, and follow-up on any exceptions.
- Record and track statistical and financial data related to grants.
Ensure timely submission of grant reports and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in grant administration or financial reporting.
- Familiarity with compliance and reporting procedures.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work with and analyze data effectively.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with financial records.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with various departments.
