What You Can Expect

The Sr. Analyst Royalties and HCP interactions will be main responsible for the timely and accurate payments to HCP in accordance to ZB and external Policies. Further the person ensure adherence to compliance with various internal and external reporting in respect to all HCP related topics. The person will be SME and main contact for internal and external audits as well participate in process improvement, data analysis, and system updates as well as prepare and maintain governance.

Royalty payments

• SME for royalty accrual calculation based on contracts

• SME for royalty payout to HCP based on contracts

• Preparing payout letters to HCP

• SME and main contact of royalties interactions

• Ownership of Contracts

• Support internal and external audit

HCP Consulting

• SME for Consulting Services T&E and R&D, Clinical Studies, External Research, Grants, TPEC Grants

• SME Transparency Reporting for local countries (example French Sunshine Act, MedTech for Grants, Dutch Transparency Reporting, Belgium Sunshine Act)

• SME for activity report approval in Medispend

• SME Contact person for any HCP related payments and issues

• Yearly payment advices letter to the HCP’s or request during the year

• Review weekly payment run for Medispend -> instruction of payments for special currencies (example RUB, KWR,…..)

• SME for Medispend system

• Enhancement Medispend system for EMEA relevant topics

• Support for any Monitor request related to HCP payments

• Represent Finance on GRC Meetings (Grant Request) and approve Grants

• Calculate and Post Grant accruals

Accounting (substitute)

• Preparation of all financial reporting (local and to Corporate) in compliance with Swiss and Corporate reporting requirements, standards, GAAP

• Support or drive various ad-hoc accounting topics and projects

What Makes You Stand Out

• Strong analytical skills, ability to understand complex contracts.

• Understanding of complex compliance framework and make sure adherence to it

• SAP experience

• Medispend experience is a plus

• Experience managing time to meet deadlines and corporate reporting schedules

• Very strong analytical skills and strong understanding of accounting principles

• Strong forward and process thinking skills and good understanding of system functionalities

• Strong Communication skills (oral and written)

• Exhibits a high level of attention to details.

• Highly motivated, self-starter willing to deliver results and meet strict deadlines

• Positive attitude, proactive and flexible.

• Good organization skills and problem solving skills.

• Good interpersonal and collaboration skills

Your Background

Education

• B.S. in accounting, finance or related field is a plus

• Commercial Apprentice or similar education

Professional experience

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience required in finance or accounting.

• Previous experience working in a Shared Services/GBS environment an advantage

• Accounting or Finance Certification or equivalent required is a plus.

• A plus, working knowledge of US GAAP and other regional and global accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, IASB).
