Kuehne+Nagel Full-Stack Software Engineer (m/w/d) in Wroclaw, Poland

Be a part of a LogTech Innovation team, which actively participates in the digital transformation of Kuehne+Nagel using AWS cloud.

Your Role

As a full-stack software engineer, you will develop digital products that bring additional value to our customers and partners. You will work on a project that aims to optimize the transportation of our customers. You will solve business problems and integrate with other applications in the KN landscape. Your analytical approach, ability to learn quickly, and innovative mindset will be key indicators of success.

You will work alongside experts facilitating the digital transformation of the logistics industry. Working on globally scalable projects gives you the opportunity to design and develop innovative solutions to problems. Your Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a digital product built with Kotlin, Quarkus, and Angular (PrimeNG and ag-grid), serverless on AWS.

  • Understand business requirements and translate them into running software.

  • Cooperate with product owners, business experts, and data experts.

  • Be part of the entire product lifecycle - from ideation through specification, prototyping, integration, and maintenance.

  • Bring the most recent technology to life on top of an existing application landscape.

  • Sharpen and develop modern information architecture for the Kuehne+Nagel enterprise.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Proficiency in Java (Kotlin preferred) is required. Python is a plus

  • Front-end development using one or more modern web JS frameworks (Angular preferred) is beneficial.

  • Experience in cloud development: AWS is preferred, GCP/Azure is nice to have

  • Background in developing microservices with Docker, NoSQL/SQL databases is beneficial.

  • DevOps and CI/CD mindset and proficiency with Git are required, we follow the 'You Build It, You Own It' approach.

  • Knowledge of software engineering targeting SOLID principles.

  • Able to learn quickly with the capability to solve complex problems while working on your own initiative. Your experience and learning capabilities will be evaluated through a technical assessment.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
