Responsibilities:

· Ensuring compliance of ECMS materials with global dangerous goods and product safety regulations.

· Generation and maintenance of global GHS classifications.

· Determining the dangerous goods classes and packaging groups of new materials and new specifications (for ECMS products, samples and raw materials), for different transport routes and modes of transport according to regional and international regulations.

· Creating and maintaining dangerous goods and product safety master data and safety data sheets/labels globally.

· Supporting and advising business units with regards to global dangerous goods and product safety.

· Managing global dangerous goods projects and supporting product safety projects.

· Representing ECMS in relevant dangerous goods and product safety communities.

· Clearance of sales order/delivery order blocks in the SAP S4/HANA system caused by restrictions related to dangerous goods regulations.

· Supporting the tracking of both dangerous goods and product safety regulations at national and regional levels.

· Responding to stakeholder questions and issues.

Requirements:

· A bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, preferably in chemistry.

· Certificate/Diploma in Legal Regulations for the transport of Dangerous Goods by Road/Rail, by inland Waterway and Ocean vessels as well as in Air transport. (ADR, IMDG, RID, IATA, US CFR Title 49, China DG Regulations, etc) is desired; If certification is currently expired, the opportunity to recertify is available.

· Demonstrated 4 – 6 years of experience in dangerous goods and product safety, with specific expertise in performing global GHS and DG classifications and the use of SAP (S4 preferred).

· Strong proficiency in English and Polish language.

· Solid knowledge of global Dangerous Goods and Product Safety regulations.

· Demonstrated ability to collaborate for achievement, communicate effectively and embrace diversity.
