A Quality Control Inspector in the Worcester, MA area is needed for a multinational power management company. The position involves performing dimensional and visual inspections, maintaining quality records, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring compliance with quality standards in a manufacturing environment, requiring analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection of fabricated parts.

• Conduct receiving inspection of incoming materials (raw & repairs).

• Maintain quality records.

• Interpret customer and supplier requirements (internal & external).

• Certify Quality Control paperwork.

• Read and interpret blueprints of fabricated parts.

• Use small hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and drop indicators.

Skills:

• Ability to read and understand formal, informal, and engineering drawings.

• Proficiency in using small hand tools.

• strong communication and organizational skills.

• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Receive information from team members regarding customer needs and product requirements and utilize this information to perform job functions.

• Basic computer knowledge of Windows-based operating systems and programs.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment with experience in quality function or utilizing dimensional tolerancing.
