Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in Wooster, Ohio and will work as part of a team to maintain and enhance our proprietary ERP system. This role also includes troubleshooting user issues and maintaining software systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems

• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support

• Resolve issues with existing ERP software

• Develop new software programs to enhance business operations

• Utilize Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET), SQL, .NET, C# - Sharp in the development and maintenance of software systems

• Work collaboratively with a small team of developers to contribute to meaningful projects

• Assist with various IT related tasks including cybersecurity

• Maintain a keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

• Clearly communicate in both written and verbal form with team members and stakeholders. Requirements • Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role

• Proficient in Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET), SQL, .NET, and C# - Sharp

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a similar field is preferred

• Strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug code efficiently

• Experience with software version control systems like Git is beneficial

• Proficient in writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
