Requisition Job Description

Position SummaryThis position will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair and testing of a wide range of electrical equipment such as programmable logic controllers, generators, motors, transformers, control panels, cables, power distribution systems and associated switchgear in the plant. This position will assure safe workplace practices are followed at all times and drive safety awareness through leading by example. This includes predictive, preventive and proactive electrical maintenance analysis. He/she must work to all codes and regulations while making electrical installations, adjustments and repairs in plant and office environments as well as assist outside contractors on major projects. This position requires a broad working knowledge of electric and electronics principles, formulas and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Must be available to work various shifts depending on manager’s discretion and schedule requirements, ability to work extended workday and or overtime as required.

  • Safely, effectively, and efficiently taking care, custody and control of department vehicles and equipment

  • Read and understand written or electronic work orders and assignments, walk or drive to service response area to perform physical work in offices, data centers, mechanical spaces, remote locations such as air handler, boiler rooms to perform assigned duties or provide service to stakeholders.

  • Physically respond to various interior or exterior facilities which present various environmental working conditions.

  • Enhances maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Required Qualifications

  • Must have and maintain and active driver license to respond on campus or to remote buildings.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in the building trades

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a data center environment electrical trades

  • Strong team leadership skills with the ability to expedite work, build trust, and enhance teamwork

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite with ability to create clear, concise reports, recommendations and action plans using data and logic

  • Experience with Maintenance Management System (iMaint, Corrigo, 360)

Education

High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $37.02

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
