CVS Health Manager, Retail Store Operations Strategy Implementation in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Store Operations and Strategy Implementation is a dynamic team within Retail Store Operations aimed to support the business and our retail colleagues while updating and reinforcing day-to-day operations as well as store closure/market disruption support for stores in need across multiple growth initiatives. Keeping our colleagues at the heart of everything we do, the strategy implementation team will support field execution of key growth initiatives across retail by providing data driven insights to support field and store execution, evolving processes as needed to streamline operations and deliver optimal outcomes. The team will collaborate across various stakeholder groups including but not limited to; store operations, real estate, communications, change management, and IT partners to ensure our store and field leaders have a clear and actionable strategy to drive successful outcomes across key retail market growth and disruption priorities.

This position will support the creation and maintenance of day-to-day operations checklists and playbooks as needed, permanent hours of operation governance and reporting, and execution support of store closure and market disruption activities in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Under the direction of the Strategy Implementation Sr. Manager, this colleague will partner cross-functionally to devise and deploy key initiatives aimed to improve store and field execution through improvement of processes that impact store and field colleagues across our 9,000+ retail locations.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge / skill / ability:

  • 5+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment

  • 5+ years experience building high-performing teams

  • 5+ years experience engaging and inspiring teams to achieve both short-term, and long-term goals

  • 5+ years experience influencing without authority

  • Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to learn and accept feedback

  • Proven track record of high performance

  • Expertise leveraging MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities

  • Regular and reliable attendance during normal working hours, as established by the leader

  • Any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager

  • Travel requirements – up to 25% travel expected

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree

  • 8+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment

  • 8+ years experience building high-performing teams

  • 8+ years experience engaging and inspiring teams to achieve both short-term, and long-term goals

  • 8+ years experience influencing without authority

  • Knowledge of change management techniques a plus

  • Experience in acquisitions and market growth/disruption opportunities

  • Knowledge of workforce management processes and extensive knowledge of retail business operations, including pharmacy

Education

Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
