Robert Half Project Coordinator in Woodland Hills, California

Description

Our client is currently seeking a remote Project Coordinator in the Health Insurance industry. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing various projects within the organization, including the creation and refinement of comprehensive portfolio reporting, maintaining and developing executive-level reporting, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units to understand objectives and outcomes supporting MCS operations.

  • Develop and maintain executive-level reports in PowerPoint, integrating data-driven insights with impactful visuals.

  • Customize reports to meet the specific needs of senior managers for various meetings.

  • Mobilize MCS resources as needed for escalated issues, involving PMs, MBAs, or Managers.

  • Oversee the monthly financial reporting process.

  • Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

  • Present findings to MCS Leadership and explain job area/department policies, practices, and procedures to others within the organization.

  • Facilitate interdepartmental meetings and ensure communication to complete projects on schedule and within budget constraints.

    Requirements

Skills Required:

  • Essential knowledge and experience in the healthcare sector.

  • Proficient in creating Excel workbooks, editing PowerPoint presentations, and using SharePoint.

  • Ability to extract and manage data from Planview into Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.

  • Capable of managing timelines and deliverables to ensure the timely completion of reporting tasks.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in the healthcare industry; familiarity with Mandates and Medicaid preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Planview or similar project management software.
