The Inclusion & Social Responsibility (ISR) Operations Specialist supports the development and implementation of programs and initiatives promoting inclusion, diversity, and social responsibility. This role integrates inclusive practices into the firm’s operations, policies, and culture, while collaborating cross-functionally with the National Office and firm leaders to foster an inclusive and engaging workplace.

The ISR Operations Specialist will manage project and operations, develop and document standard operating procedures, support reporting for the firm’s Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) programming and the Moss Adams Foundation, and assist in developing new initiatives. This role involves effective communication, managing timelines, and community engagement efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a skilled communicator and presenter with a people-oriented approach, and capable of balancing results and process-oriented thinking to ensure a positive client experience.

They will coordinate and perform operational functions related to Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and the firm’s GiveBack program, serve as the point of contact for the team’s software and tools, and leverage resources to resolve issues and answer questions. Strong independent and sound business judgment, flexibility, proactive collaboration, relationship-building, and dedication to enhancing the people experience are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the I&SR team to support and manage internal inclusion, diversity, and social responsibility programs and initiatives

  • Act as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for I&SR internal tools (e.g., Benevity, Glint, SmartSheet, SharePoint) through vendor management, training clients, troubleshooting requests, and proactively anticipating needs

  • Develop and support the Moss Adams Foundation’s GiveBack program, which includes employee engagement, campaigns, project management, reporting, match request approvals, and communications support to internal teams and external partners

  • Support, consult, and provide resources for Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) stakeholders, including business resource groups, the I&D Board, and firm leaders

  • Manage logistics for I&SR programs and events, including communications, scheduling, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders

  • Oversee the firm’s best place to work, employee awards, and benchmarking surveys, including survey reporting, communications, approvals, and vendor interfacing

  • Support the firm’s continuous listening program by developing survey questions, managing communications, reporting, and providing strategic input

  • Assist in creating I&SR collateral and content, and maintaining internal and external sites using SharePoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedure documents and provide systems/process training for internal clients

  • Analyze client situations and make recommendations for handling complex issues

  • Research, follow-up, and resolve client reporting requests through effective collaboration with internal and external teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, emphasis in human resources, nonprofit program administration, community engagement, or a related field preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of related experienced required; experience in a professional services environment or nonprofit environment preferred

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate complex issues to all levels within the firm

  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion

  • Proven commitment to providing exceptional client service and producing accurate, timely work

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management and reporting tools preferred

  • Adaptable to a changing environment, capable of championing change and influencing others

  • Self-directed professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships

  • Effective time management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
