Woodworker / Cabinet Builder
Overview:
· Pay: $22 - $28 an hour
· Location: Woodinville, WA
· Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm + overtime on Fridays
Job Description:
Is woodworking a hobby of yours? Or have you worked in a manufacturing environment building with wood: cutting, sanding, fabricating, priming, painting, finishing? We are looking to add a skilled woodworker to our team. Job duties include:
· Engage in manufacturing activities including, but not limited to, interpreting plans, cutting, assembling and modifying parts,
installation, prototyping, and sampling.
· Responsible for successfully manufacturing and finishing project deliverables on time, within allocated labor hours, and
achieving the project outcomes.
· Track and take custody of project specific materials once they have been received by the Purchasing Department.
· Maintain knowledge and skills in all areas of fabrication.
· Assist with pack-out process. Ensure the road box is adequately stocked with all necessary tools and first aid supplies. Support the safe & secure packing of all products for installation.
Work Environment:
Industrial arts shop — produces and manufactures museum exhibits, custom signs, and other project-based art.
Preferred Skills:
· Broad understanding of carpentry, procedures, and painting/finishing
· Specific understanding of a broad range of fabrication skills
· Understanding of shop drawings
· Basic shop math and ability to work with metric measurements
