The Role:
We are now looking for a Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth while fostering strong customer relationships. This dynamic role demands strategic thinking, exceptional leadership abilities, and a determination to deliver outstanding results in the competitive gourmet salt market.
What You'll Do:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue targets
Lead and inspire the sales team to maximize performance and exceed goals
Coordinate sales efforts across various channels, including online, retail, and wholesale
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales opportunities
Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies
Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively for success
Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights to senior management
Stay current on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and stay ahead of the competition
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Processes, Food Safety Standards and related operational procedures
Other projects and duties as assigned
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or commensurate work experience
4+ years in sales leadership experience
Proven success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the food or consumer goods industry
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive sales growth
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with teams
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets
Proficiency in sales strategies and tools, including CRM systems and market analysis
Self-motivated and results-driven with a focus on accountability
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Office environment
Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time
Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
Additional Information:
Salary Range: $100 - $150k Annually - Exempt Position
