BIO RAD LABORATORIES - 390 Manufacturing Engineer I in Woodinville, Washington
As the Bio-Rad Manufacturing Engineer I, you will support production by resolving complex manufacturing challenges, investigate non-conformances/deviations and work on process improvement projects. You will be the Subject Matter Expert in the processes associated with Immunoassays, both ELISA and Bead-based including Raw Material Qualification, Bio-Conjugation, and Protein Purification. This knowledge will be applied towards documenting Non-Conformances, Deviation Reports, and CAPAs independently to ensure compliance. Manufacturing Engineers work in a team environment (Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Marketing, Research & Development, Transfer) to investigation technical issues, implement process improvements, and complete validations. You will interact with external representatives on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations/divisions. How You'll Make An Impact: Corrective and preventative action in support of continuous improvement Compliant resolution of Quality and Technical issues Risk assessment utilizing technical knowledge Validation skills to reduce quality and supply risk Crossfunctional communication in support of efficient actions What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Compliant and effective disposition of materials under investigation Effective time management to balance between manufacturing support and strategic goals (CapEx, CI, CAPA) Continuous learning and development Precise communication and execution to promise Compliant solutions that optimize implementation of new technologies Industry experience supporting manufacturing equipment in a cGMP/FDA/ISO regulated industry preferred Experience or knowledge of the following is also a plus: Capital Projects from justification to sustaining OEE/Uptime measuring and improvement initiatives IOPQ Lab experience like fermentation, extraction, purification, Lean/6 sigma FDA/GxP Automated filling/sealing/packaging Label printing, applying Barcode printing, grading Lyophilization Clean rooms Bio Safety Total Rewards Package: At Bio-Rad, we're empowered by our purpose and recognize that our employees are as well. Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $78,800.00 to $108,200.00 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
