Job Title: Fork Lift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Fork Lift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the professional, accident-free operation of forklifts, maintaining warehouse organization, and ensuring the accurate handling and tracking of goods.

Responsibilities

• Operate the forklift professionally and accident-free.

• Maintain and clean the forklift systematically.

• Track the location of goods during material handling using Warehouse Management System (WMS). Ensure accurate data entry in the WMSystem.

• Perform other manual tasks as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, including sampling inventory and cleaning.

• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.

• During seed delivery and return season, ensure proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations.

• Maintain safety standards and follow emergency procedures when necessary.

Essential Skills

• Ability to count accurately when moving inventory.

• Ability to read scales.

• Ability to multitask and be detail-oriented.

• Alertness and awareness when driving the forklift safely.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently or as part of a team.

• Ability to operate in confined spaces with a forklift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1 year of forklift experience.

• 1 year of warehouse experience.

• Prior forklift certification is preferred.

Work Environment

12-hour shifts from 6:00am to 6:30pm and 6:00pm to 6:30am, with an 8-week rotation between day and night shifts. The position requires passing pre-employment screenings, as well as having reliable transportation to the site. Enthusiasm, a good attitude, honesty, and respect for others are essential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
