AriZona Beverages USA LLC Senior Accountant in Woodbury, New York
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The senior accountant will handle all accounting operations and verify financial records and transactions. This position will have a keen attention to detail. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Daily/monthly bank reconciliations
Maintain fixed assets
Maintain prepaid expense schedule
GL Account analysis
Analyze period over period fluctuations and provide management with insightful commentary of variances
Assist in the preparation of combined financial statements including Balance Sheets, Statements of Income, Statement of Changes in Stockholders Equity and Statements of Cash Flows
Prepare general journal entries
Assist with the month-end closing process
Assist with special projects as needed QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Bachelors degree in Accounting Minimum 4 years experience in Accounting/Public Accounting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, experience with SAP a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY No direct supports WORK ENVIRONMENT Office PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the person is regularly required to sit, stand and walk.
