Job Title: Lathe Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes. The role involves working with various machines, including the Doosan/Puma and Swiss Lathes, reading blueprints, making necessary adjustments, and performing initial part inspections.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes.

• Work with various machines, with a primary focus on Doosan/Puma and Swiss Lathes.

• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Make adjustments as necessary to ensure precision.

• Perform initial part inspections using precision measuring devices.

Essential Skills

• Experience with lathe setup and operation.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• Ability to read and utilize precision measuring devices.

• Familiarity with 2-3 axis and 3-4 axis CNC lathes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Open to entry-level lathe operators or high-level programmers (Mastercam).

• Mill and lathe machining experience is a bonus.

• Experience with setup on both mills and lathes.
