Job Title: Lathe Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes. The role involves working with various machines, including the Doosan/Puma and Swiss Lathes, reading blueprints, making necessary adjustments, and performing initial part inspections.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC lathes.
Work with various machines, with a primary focus on Doosan/Puma and Swiss Lathes.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Make adjustments as necessary to ensure precision.
Perform initial part inspections using precision measuring devices.
Essential Skills
Experience with lathe setup and operation.
Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Ability to read and utilize precision measuring devices.
Familiarity with 2-3 axis and 3-4 axis CNC lathes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Open to entry-level lathe operators or high-level programmers (Mastercam).
Mill and lathe machining experience is a bonus.
Experience with setup on both mills and lathes.
