Strategically partner with the business to establish a positive environment to promote growth within multiple business units. Ensure all corporate policies, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements, including those from EEO, Department of Labor, and Affirmative Action policies for multiple business units are followed and adhered to.

What will you be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance on HR issues, including organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management.

  • Partner with senior management to identify and address HR needs and provide solutions to drive business performance.

  • Foster a positive work environment and culture that supports employee engagement and retention.

  • Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and effective manner.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and manage employee relations issues.

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices.

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Analyze HR metrics to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.

  • Support organizational change initiatives and manage the impact on employees.

  • Lead efforts to improve organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.

  • Work with VP, HR on mergers and acquisitions by conducting due diligence and identifying risks and opportunities.

  • All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems for respective business unit HR team.

Qualifications:

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • 10 years of broad HR experience

  • Strong employee relations experience

  • High sense of urgency

  • Knowledge and experience with the Service Contract Act (SCA)

  • Ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • High level technical skills
