Veralto Chief Product Officer in Wood Dale, Illinois
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Develop and execute growth strategy for Esko, by identifying attractive target segments, planning product innovations and portfolio improvements, developing partnerships with external companies
Work with sales, and finance to collect relevant data in support of Strat plan; own market share segmentation process
Track competitor news and financial results and keep evergreen perspective on evolution of packaging and color market
Support inorganic business development (potential acquisitions, partnerships) –partner with the President to develop business cases for M&A activities, scouts potential acquisition target
Portfolio Management
Define and execute on product roadmap
Establish customer requirements, articulate clear product positioning, and value proposition, set priorities for the hardware and software development, work towards product costs optimization and portfolio standardization, while maintaining regulatory & quality compliance.
Together with R&D and other functions achieve product development milestones and ensure the highest quality and customer satisfaction through comprehensive validation of new products against customer use cases and market needs.
Support global and regional marketing teams to prepare product launches.

Align budget planning in alignment with annual strategic plan
Measure of performance –market share growth
Support the objective analysis of potential market opportunities. Support business plans and distribution / channel strategies for existing and new product lines, in alignment with the market’s buying preferences.
Conduct win/loss analysis and business reviews with the commercial leaders to understand and optimize commercial performance.
Develop effective Go-to Market strategies and programs with commercial leaders, and global marketing
Conduct competitive analysis on strategic and operational level, consolidate information from diverse internal and external sources into one coherent picture. Develop and implement a strategy for winning against the competition.
Innovation
Discover needs in the market by interviewing customers. Also, identifying most important market, technology, and workflow trends to incorporate into product roadmap.
Measure of performance –global revenue achievement NPIs, funnel against target
Analyze product portfolio positioning and pricing, based on regional market situation.
Plan, execute and measure effectiveness of strategic launches. Ensure commercial readiness and success of NPIs, coordinating and integrating all required global and local partners and workstreams
Manage proactive communications with commercial leaders and key stakeholders from strategy to execution.
Build and manage a best-in-class Global Product management team
Recruit and hire best in class talent
Integrate, Engage and Develop the team to drive and execute on marketing objectives
Identify and build a talent succession pipeline
Successful Candidate

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $300,000 - $350,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus / Incentive Pay.
