We are currently seeking to recruit 3 Supply Chain Procurement Specialists. Please kindly note, we are unable to offer sponsorship for these vacancies. These roles are site based; 4 days per week on site, 1 day per week remote based.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and place purchase orders, manage several suppliers/components, and ensure product is delivered on time and meets quality standards.

  • Lead the relationship with Suppliers to ensure key program goals are being met.

  • Monitor key metrics and track supplier milestones significant to meeting deliverables.

  • Understand and review performance to cost targets, communicating any impacts.

  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address supplier risks and concerns.

  • Engage with Program, Engineering, Quality and Operations teams, eliminating roadblocks to achieving business goals.

  • Actively participate in special projects to develop and refine processes, ensuring effective and accurate metrics.

  • Support counterparts within Supply Chain Management in defining and identifying areas of opportunity for the team to improve performance and increase efficiency.

  • Explain policies, practices, and procedures and influence others in their development.

  • Problems faced are difficult and often complex

  • Participate in Continuous improvement events and activities such as Value Stream Mapping or Kaizen events

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Supply Chain experience with relevant degree or qualifications

  • In the absence of a degree, proven and relevant experience is required.

  • SAP or other MRP Systems experience

  • Supplier relationship management experience

  • Procurement experience

  • Experience communicating to various audiences

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical aptitude with ability to understand complex manufacturing processes

  • Project management skills

  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge

  • Process Improvement experience

  • Aerospace Industry experience

  • Executive presentation experience
