Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the manufacturing industry, located in WIXOM, Michigan. This position involves managing account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. The workplace is dynamic and requires a professional who is proficient in various skills including Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to ensure all balances are accounted for and properly posted

• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded

• Maintain the general ledger by processing journal entries and performing account analysis

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to streamline processes and improve efficiency

• Operate NetSuite for various accounting functions

• Use Oracle software for financial management purposes

• Utilize SAP software for business operations and customer relations

• Manage month-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Requirements • Strong experience in the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in performing account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation

• Skilled in conducting bank reconciliations

• Comprehensive understanding of general ledger management

• Ability to prepare and review journal entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with month-end close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks

• Professional certification such as CPA is a plus.
