Leads the clinical rehab team (therapists, techs, volunteers and interns) with positive influence and by example while providing direct and indirect services to populations served in an outpatient environment. Completes orientation and competencies of clinical staff. Supports the clinical senior managers in the development of clinical staff in areas of continuing education, mentoring, and documentation. Promotes evidence-based standards of care through collaborative participation in research, journal reviews, teaching/mentoring, and/or peer education.

Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm shifts are flexible

The role you’ll contribute:

When you join our team of over 40 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealth’s mission in the communities we serve.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Serve as a Lead Audiologist for the hearing Implant Program.

· Interface with school districts and referring clinicians to facilitate access to services.

· Assist in the development of new research protocols and proposals.

· Establish a 4th-year Audiology student externship program.

· Provides direct patient care following the staff job description “Duties and Responsibilities” section as per license as an Audiologist.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

· Doctoral degree in Audiology with a minimum of two years of work experience as a licensed and treating audiologist

· Current active license in the state of Florida as an Audiologist

· CPR certification

· Pediatric Cochlear Implant experience
