Collins Aerospace Interiors Seating Business Unit is looking for a high performing individual to join our Program Management/Value Stream team in a customer facing role. This position is for a mid to senior professional with in depth knowledge and technical expertise in Program Management, who leads medium-sized to large programs. Develops program plans, schedules, and budgets. Supports strategic planning efforts, solutions for program problems, contract negotiations, and program execution.

What You Will Do:

  • Leads medium to large programs to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs and recommends appropriate adjustments.

  • Directs program phases from inception through completion.

  • Prepares and presents strategy, progress, and results.

  • Supports annual strategic planning effort & ongoing business reviews.

  • Guides improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.

  • Establishes program operating cadence & flow of information between parties to ensure compliance to contractually defined program reviews.

  • Monitors customer usage activities and proposes changes (additions/deletions) to contractual inventory list.

  • Works with customer and internal functional disciplines

  • Supports development of new business growth strategies.

  • Participates with contracts management in negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance.

  • Owns issues and develops meaningful partnerships across the company and with customers.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, proactively building and motivating teams through exemplary conduct.

  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers

  • Transform complex analyses into concise presentations and communications.

  • Apply excellent commercial and financial acumen to manage risks and opportunities effectively, utilizing analytical reasoning and decisive decision-making.

    Qualification You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.6

    Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Program management experience leading cross functional teams

  • Previous experience working with operations, manufacturing & engineering organizations

  • Experience using Integrated Project Scheduling software

  • MS Office

  • Experience in program management methods (e.g. project scheduling, cost control, change management, risk management, earned value)

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
