Job Title: Laboratory AssistantJob Description

We are currently seeking laboratory assistants to support our manufacturing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for various tasks such as cleaning and sterilizing glassware, preparing reagents and buffers, assembling process tubing assemblies, documenting buffer and media compounding, receiving and organizing deliveries, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sterilize glassware and prepare reagents, buffers, and media.

• Prepare and assemble process tubing assemblies for various process groups.

• Document buffer and media compounding and preparation using an electronic lab notebook, batch record, and/or protocols.

• Receive and organize deliveries and samples, and organize lab space.

• Perform data entry of records as necessary.

Essential Skills

• Experience in cell culture, aseptic techniques, and sterile environments.

• Knowledge of cGMP, GMP, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience in microbiology, quality control, cleanroom environments, production, and quality assurance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• AS/BS in a technical field desired. High School Diploma or Equivalent may be considered with relevant experience.

• 2+ years of GMP experience, which can be from industries outside of pharma, or BioWorks certification.

• Prior lab experience or exposure is required.

• Cleanroom experience is preferred but not required.

• Experience following SOPs and executing batch records.

• Basic knowledge of FDA and EMA regulatory requirements is ideal.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both lab and office settings. The lab is a cleanroom environment, classified as level 10k and 100k cleanrooms. Employees will be responsible for sterile gowning and maintaining certification for sterile gowning. Shifts are available as follows: Shift 1: Sunday to Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, and Shift 2: Wednesday to Saturday from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
