This will be a hands on role- getting their hands dirty and in the "weeds"

We are looking for someone with the necessary skills to help with infrastructure, specifically moving from on-prem to cloud servers. The role involves managing on-prem data centers, connections for shops, the entire Wi-Fi network, and all ISP circuits. They want someone who can learn and grow as the company changes its global infrastructure while still running. The person will be the retail technology expert for all store technologies, including route, switch, Wi-Fi, IoT, back office technology, and servers. They will also have to support retail shops as the business expands.

• Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-prem data centers, connections for shops, the entire Wi-Fi network, and all ISP circuits

  • Work on route switch and hang plugin computers

  • Support retail shop infrastructures, including POS connections and network infrastructure

  • Assist with hands-on tasks related to back-office technologies, such as VDI, Oracle applications, and home-grown apps

  • Assist with testing and remediation work for Wi-Fi systems in stores

• Infrastructure experience, specifically in moving from on-prem to cloud servers.

• General infrastructure skills, including route switch and hang plugin computers, with the ability to learn and adapt to changes in global infrastructure.

• Retail technology expertise, including managing retail shop infrastructures, POS connections, network infrastructure, firewalls, and network switches.

• Knowledge of back-office technologies in stores, such as VDI, Oracle applications, and home-grown apps.

• Familiarity with Wi-Fi systems and configuration changes in retail stores.

• Understanding of IoT and data for reducing waste and increasing labor efficiency.

• Experience with connectors, APIs, back-end servers, and cloud technologies.

• Familiarity with IoT platforms like Siemens.
